Exporting to Southeast Asia

Goal

Exporting to Southeast Asia

The Southeast Asian region is set to become the largest single market in the world by 2030.

Strategy

The strength of the Southeast Asian countries united in ASEAN lies in their 650 million inhabitants, their consistently expanding GDP with average growth rates of around 5% in recent years, and, above all, the scale of trade exchange. Exporting to Southeast Asia offers unique opportunities for businesses that want to enter a dynamic and growing market.

The city-state of Singapore has 5.5 million inhabitants and is located at the center of Southeast Asia. It is considered the main commercial platform and the most important economic hub of the entire ASEAN area.

The economic organization that includes Singapore, as well as Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and the Philippines, has a total population of approximately 650 million people.
